Neil Newstead is the CEO and co-founder of Oakfield PM LTD, a group that has now been trading for two decades. He prides himself on his experience in Lettings, Property Management, and Block Management, areas he views as invaluable. Oakfield is known for their superb customer service and attention to detail. As the CEO of Oakfield Estates, Neil Newstead is responsible for developing the company’s overall strategy, and facilitating growth and development. He is highly involved in the day to day tasks of his business, and he works hard to ensure that the group’s infrastructure is second to none. He also implements marketing and communication strategies to keep Oakfield Estates one of the best estate agencies in the region. He prioritizes providing his talented staff with training so he can pass on his vast knowledge. This way his employees will continue to make sure that Oakfield is the very best it can be.
During Neil Newstead’s time in the estate industry, he’s worked hard to complete the necessary qualifications to become a Fellow of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (FARLA) and a Member of the National Association of Estate Agents (MNAEA). He leverages these certifications and his knowledge to better his company.
Neil first opened Oakfield back in 1996 in Hastings. Now, more than 20 years later, the estate agency has four different branches in Eastbourne, Hastings, Bexhill and Royal Tunbridge Wells. They also have their head office in St. Leonards. Oakfield employs 40 staff members across the different branches of their company. They also recently launched an apprenticeship programme, which has been a great success! Oakfield currently employees five apprentices participating in business administration courses and AAT courses.
Neil Newstead manages more than 900 properties in Oakfield lettings and management portfolio. The company’s block management portfolio currently includes 58 blocks and 630 units.
Not only has Neil successfully run Oakfield for the last twenty years, but he has also been a property developer and run his own development company called Breathe Developments. His company’s developments include a set of 28 luxury apartments, named Stone Court in St Leonards. They have a gross development value of £5.5 million. Once the apartments were completed, they built four semi-detached houses on the site, and have even more plans for the future. Neil Newstead’s group also undertook the conversion of an old Methodist church in St. Leonards. Now the property includes five flats, and has a gross development value of £2 million. Neil’s previous developments included refurbishing flats, and converting residential care homes into residential flats.
